  11.   I have an Ibm Thinkpad 360 with an IBM PCMCIA modem. I have a problem getting a dial
  12.  tone at my office. The modem connects fine at home but at the office all I 
  13. get is a "No Dialtone" error message.  
  14.   I did notice that the modem connector has only two wires going into the 
  15. connector, a red and a green. When I mate that to a connector at work I 
  16. noticed that the red and green wires are reversed on the office phone. Thus at 
  17. the office the red wire would connect to green and the green to the red. Could 
  18. this be my problem?   
  19.     This problem only happens with this PCMCIA modem. I have used a Supra 14.4 
  20. external for years on my office phones with no problem.   Would appreciate any 
  21. help.
